In the Lower Keys, you can find all that the Keys have to offer: the unique
tropical environment, aqua water, great fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving,
swimming, dining and many other activities. Cudjoe Key is just 19 miles
north of Key West, and is conveniently located near the Key West Airport.
The Overseas Highway (Highway 1) runs throughout the Keys and is marked with
mile markers. The following is a general description of the Keys according

What is Mini Lobster
Season?
The regular lobster season runs August 6 - March 31. Mini Lobster
Season is 2 days in July just prior to the opening of lobster season when
the catching of lobster is allowed. For more details on the rules, visit the
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's
website. This is a
popular time for many vacationer's to come to the Keys.
Keys Weather
Those unfamiliar
with the Keys often assume it is very hot. The average maximum temperature
in the summer is on 81 degrees! The average temperature in the coldest
month, January, is 68.7. November - April is the dry season in the Keys, and
May - October is the rainy season.
